Our Miracle Soil is a bottom sand (black granular soil) made specifically for aquariums. It's made primarily from Aso volcanic ash soil, which is granulated with moisture and formed into round granules. The granules are then baked in a boiler to harden and prevent crumbling. It has adsorption properties similar to activated carbon, and the granules range from 1.5 to 3.3 mm. It's formulated to grow aquatic plants for one month, with appropriate amounts of nutrients added thereafter. This stabilizes water quality and creates a healthy environment for living organisms. While the pH and KH values of tap water vary by country and region, we can modify the soil to achieve the desired pH and KH values.
(For example, tap water in Spain had a pH of 8 and a KH value of 12. By using our modified soil, the pH was improved to approximately 6.5 and the KH value to between 1 and 0.)
